Well, we've had an adventure the past few days. While at the local park, Colin was playing on the jungle gym and fell flat on his chin and tried to bite his tongue off. This of course produced a visit to the doctor. Turns out there's nothing they can do for huge chunks coming out of your tongue. Just let it heal they say. While there they weighed him and he's coming in around 26lbs. with clothes and shoes on and he's around 35" tall now (16 months old).
On a brighter side. Colin has always been into music. He'll break into a jig for any type of music, but his favorite song is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. He's started to sing it and do the hand motions as well. He also loves saying his ABC's and counting things.
The weather has been so nice here in Santa Rosa....a balmy 70 plus degrees every day for at least a week. I'm sure it will turn stormy again, but in the meantime we're enjoying this great sushine.
