We just returned from our annual trip to Greagle on the Feather River. We always stay at the Feather River Park Resort in cabin #10. This is my 9th year there and Alex's 30-something year there. You can view our pictures from the trip by clicking here.
This year was action packed as Colin had us running from the river to the pool to the creek and on bike rides in his new bike trailer. Rock throwing (into the river) was big on the to-do list. We also managed some hikes in the Lakes Basin. The men's hike this year was to Haskell Peak. The ladies did the Long Lake Loop and Alex, Colin and I hiked Bear Lakes to Round Lake.
Alex, Derek and Michael saw a bear on their hike and we have it on video and you'll see a picture of it's hind quarters on the slideshow. Thankfully Emily and I did NOT see a bear on our hike. Although we were warned we might see the resident bear of Graeagle Lodge.
We're sad to be back home as we were having so much fun, alas...here we are.
