In a conglomeration of topics I am here to update you on the past month's activities in the Campbell household since my last posting.
At the end of April we had a visit from Papa Jack for a few days. We'll be seeing him again in August when he's here for his family reunion. In addition my sisters Jill and Lisa and nephew Josh will be here from Oregon. My brother Matt will be getting married August 14th at a Fountaingrove winery to his sweetheart of two years (Beth).
We went to baby Rory's birthday party on April 26th and had a great time in the bouncey house and sharing in her joyful day.
The weekend of May 3rd, my friend Holly and I ventured down to the Campbell's cabin in Pacific Valley (1.5 hours South of Monterey). We had a very restful and relaxing 3 days...just us girls. Meanwhile, Alex and Colin went to a soccer tournament and to Day Under the Oaks at the JC.

My schooling is almost done for the semester. I have my Biology final on the 19th. This summer is Psychology and the fall holds Chemistry in my future.
Alex remains steadfast in his dedication to ZAP and is having a grand time playing music with friends at least once or twice a week. He's requisitioned a studio that he shares with his buddies where they can jam to their hearts content.
Alex and Colin treated me to a wonderful Mother's Day beginning with sleeping in until 10AM, followed by breakfast with friends at Mosaic in Forestville, a trip to the park and swimming at the club pool and ending with dinner at Mary's Pizza Shack (again with friends). It was a fun-filled day. They boys got me a new case for my Iphone, handpicked flowers and homemade cards signed by Colin. I loved every minute of it.
I also wanted to share a picture of my garden; it's growing so fast.

I was so excited today because for the first time, Colin swam (doggie paddled) both ways across the pool at our health club. He's not by any means a "swimmer" quite yet, and we always remain within arms reach, but to have this ability at 3.5, I was a very impressed mommy today. Way to go Collie!
