Whopper Cookies

My friend from Chemistry class brought these in one day to share with me. They were AWESOME. BTW...I scored a B in my Chemistry class. A HUGE weight has been lifted from my shoulders as I thought I had not done as well on the final as hoped, and yet I had done really well.

Whopper Cookies:

2/3 C. Butter
1 1/4 C. Brown sugar
3/4 C. Sugar
3 Eggs (beaten)
1 1/2 C. Chunky peanut butter
6 C. Rolled oats
2 Tspns baking soda
1 1/2 C. Raisins
2 C. Chocolate chips

Melt butter over low heat, blend in sugars, eggs, peanut butter and mix until smooth. Add oats, baking soda, raisins and chocolate chips. Drop onto baking sheet, flatten slightly. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. 4.5 dozen.

These cookies are light, peanuty, chocolaty and crispy. I'm taking them to a party tomorrow night. It's the annual Feather River ladies dinner. Meaning that all the ladies (mother's and daughters) who go to Feather River (Graeagle)on vacation all get together once a year at Christmas time to just hang out and we do a fun gift exchange, eat and drink and catch up on what's been happening since June. I look forward to it all year. My MIL Sue and I are going together; our annual tradition.

Since Amy was sharing her AWESOME Junior Bird Man picture from our Skype chats...here is the one she took of me. Does anyone else Skype? It's rockin'!
