On Saturday, May 5, 2012, I will participate with my classmates from Village Charter School, in the Sonoma County Human Race. Our fundraising goal for the Human Race is $10,000. I am asking my friends and family to sponsor me in this effort by giving $5 to $250.
The Human Race is a nationwide community fundraising event for nonprofit organizations and is the largest collaborative fundraising event in Sonoma County! It has been one of the most successful fundraisers for local nonprofits for over 30 years and raised nearly $1 million for local charities in 2011. I’m excited to participate in the race this spring and raise funds for local charities that support our community.
