Four Generations

Well, we're getting ready for Thanksgiving. Last night I made some sample pumpkin pies to test out the recipe. Yes, I know they're not that hard to make, but Alex wanted to taste-test them. Also, if you didn't know, the Libby's recipe makes TWO pies, not one. Bonus!

We're planning to spend Thanksgiving this year in town at my aunt Liz's house. This is where my dad and Barbara will be this year too. Ohhhh...and don't forget Aunt Susie. Now that she's living here in Santa Rosa again, she'll be there too.

On the not so bright side...my grandfather (mom's dad) is doing very poorly. He's been sent hom with hospice and I don't expect he'll make it to Thanksgiving. I went to see him a few weeks ago and at that point he still remembered me, but now they say he doesn't recognize anyone. I'm glad I went when I did.

Tomorrow, Dad, Susie, Colin and I are headed to the SF auto show. Alex is working it this year and we're going to wander around and let Colin touch all the tires. He's obsessed with tires, trucks, tractors, etc. Should be fun.

Take Care....
