Okay, this has to be the oddest thing ever. 1st about 6 weeks ago, I run into an old Agilent co-worker downtown. I've not seen him in 5 years and randomly he's walking past Peet's coffee. Should I take the chance and shout his name down the avenue? YES!!! It's my old buddy Nana. Okay, then just this past Wednesday, I run into another Agilent castaway, Mike, who I randomly run into on Doran Beach while playing with Colin in the surf. And now.....I get a call from another former co-worker, Ben, who says there's a whole load of castaways getting together for a BBQ this weekend.
They say things do come in three's and this time it's true. What ARE the chances? Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing some old buddies very soon.
On another note, we returned from Oregon on the 18th. We were in Welches staying at the Whispering Woods Resort (see my commentary on Trip Advisor). Somehow it says I rated it a 2.0 and I didn't mean to do that, I would've rated it at least a 4.0 out of 5. We had a great time. I have yet to download the photos, so look for those to be up on our Shutterfly account on Sunday sometime, when I get some time to sit in front of the computer for more than 5 minutes. I'll also write more about our experiences when I get the chance.
