Cast OFF

Colin is finally out of his cast. It was a LONG six weeks, but it's finally over. It gave us a look at what it means to have a child with a disability. Thankfully, it wasn't permanent. It was amazing though to see how Colin adapted so quickly to his plight and made it work for him. Nothing was going to keep this boy down for long. He was able to play t-ball (while sitting in his jog stroller) and basket ball (from a chair). He still went to preschool and participated in all the events. He even learned how to go down the slide at preschool with a full-leg cast on.

Now that it's off, we're looking forward to going to the Funky Monkey, Train Town (going today) and the ZOO (with little friend Grace).

We're looking forward to the holidays and time with family.

Sorry to cut this short...but I must get ready for Train Town adventures.
